1. Studio Use & Scope

Core Creative Studios provides hourly rental space for music recording, podcasting, photography, videography, and other creative production. These terms apply to all clients, guests, and collaborators who enter or use the studio. Using the studio means you accept these terms. Only the areas included in your booking may be used.

2. Booking, Deposit, Payments & Cancellations

A non-refundable $40 deposit is required at the time of booking.
You may cancel or reschedule with at least 1 day (24 hours) notice.
Cancellations under 24 hours, late arrivals, and no-shows forfeit the deposit.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance is due at the end of your session.

Accepted payment methods include cash, card, and digital payment options as specified by the studio.

3. Session Time & Overtime

Your session begins and ends at the scheduled time, regardless of your arrival time.
Setup and cleanup must occur within your booked window.

If you stay past your scheduled end time and the studio is available, that time will be billed as overtime.
Overtime is charged at $60 per hour, billed in reasonable increments (for example, 30-minute blocks).
Overtime fees may be automatically charged to your payment method on file.

4. Conduct, Guests & Building Rules

All clients and guests must behave respectfully while in the studio and shared building areas.
No illegal drugs are allowed. Alcohol is permitted only with prior approval.

Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or anything that disturbs neighbors or other tenants is prohibited.
Loitering in hallways, stairwells, or outside the building is not allowed.

Guest count must remain reasonable for the size of the studio and may be limited at the studio’s discretion.

5. Equipment Use & Responsibility

Your booking may include access to microphones, audio interfaces, speakers, lighting, backdrops, furniture, and other production tools.

You agree to use all equipment responsibly and only for its intended purpose.
Notify studio staff immediately of any malfunction, damage, or safety concerns.

You are financially responsible for any damage, loss, or theft caused by you or your guests due to misuse, negligence, or intentional actions.
Repair or replacement costs are based on current market value.

6. Clean-Up Requirements

You must leave the studio in the same condition as when you arrived.
Trash should be placed in provided bins.
Furniture and props must be returned to their original positions.

If the studio is left excessively dirty or damaged, a cleaning fee or additional charges may apply.

7. Content Ownership, Credit & Privacy

You retain full ownership of all audio, video, photos, and creative content you produce while renting the studio.

By using the studio, you agree to always credit “Core Creative Studios – Brooklyn, NY” when publishing work created here
(e.g., YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).

We respect your privacy. Session details, concepts, lyrics, and recordings are not shared without your permission.

For safety, entrances or common areas may be monitored by security cameras. Footage is used only for security/internal purposes unless required by law.

8. Prohibited Activities

The following are not allowed without prior written approval:

– Adult or explicit content production
– Live animals
– Open flames, pyrotechnics, fireworks, smoke machines
– Excessive liquids, paint, powder, confetti, or messy materials
– Large, high-capacity events or parties

Violations may result in immediate session termination without refund and additional charges.

9. Limitation of Liability

You use the studio and equipment at your own risk.
Core Creative Studios is not responsible for injuries, lost or stolen belongings, data loss, or technical issues such as power outages or internet failures.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Core Creative Studios, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

– Your use of the studio or equipment
– The actions of you, your guests, or collaborators
– Any content you create, record, or distribute from the studio

11. Changes & Right to Refuse Service

Core Creative Studios may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
We may temporarily close or adjust availability for maintenance or building-related issues.
We reserve the right to refuse service or end a session early if behavior is unsafe, illegal, or violates these terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by New York State law.
Any disputes must be resolved under New York jurisdiction.

13. Acceptance

By booking a session, entering the studio, or using any services at Core Creative Studios, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
